When you post a gig on GigMap, you choose:

• What you need done. Pick a category (cleaning, moving, handyman, landscaping, pool, auto, tech help, pet care, and many more) or type your own.
• Your budget. Set a fixed price, an hourly or daily rate, or mark it negotiable.
• Timing and urgency. Add a preferred date and how urgent it is.
• Photos and skills. Show what the job looks like and list any skills it requires.
• Location. Your gig appears on the map in your general area. Your exact pin stays private.

Once it's live, nearby helpers can find it on the map and message you through in-app chat.

Prefer to pick someone yourself? The Services tab lists local providers and businesses with their services, starting rates, portfolios, and reviews. Sort by nearest, highest rated, or price, and filter for licensed professionals when a job calls for one.

Choosing the right person

GigMap gives you the information to decide:

• Ratings and reviews from people they've worked with
• Completed jobs shown on their profile
• Portfolio photos of past work
• Skills and categories they've listed

Before you hire, use chat to confirm what's included, when they'll arrive, and how you'll pay. GigMap doesn't process payments, so you and the helper agree on payment directly. When the job is done, mark it complete and leave a review to help the next neighbor.
